Sunshine Massey

Sunshine Massey is the new Practice Manager with Pentas Wealth Management, where she addresses client requests and manages the firm’s operations. She provides operational and client support in her daily responsibilities, including client onboarding, registration changes, distribution and contribution processing, trade execution, tax reporting, and documentation requirements. She coordinates appointments and executes client events and educational seminars while monitoring ongoing operational processes for efficiency and compliance. She works diligently to deliver an excellent client experience and manages the firm’s day-to-day activities in a steady and experienced manner.

Sunshine brings 17 years of experience in finance, human resources, compliance, and operations to her position with Pentas. She took great pride in her previous role as HR Lead and Liaison with Walmart, where she was twice nominated for People Lead of the Year. Her primary responsibilities were traveling the region to teach and train managers how to effectively run their business by helping to reduce turnover, increase retention, improve associate relations, manage wages by architecting store schedules, and improve the hiring process. She prioritized being an open-door advocate for the employees and managers at Walmart. Before working with Walmart, She worked in various operations roles at Southwest Georgia Bank for 13 years.

Realizing her passion for HR and operations, Sunshine received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Human Resources in 2020. Born and raised in Colquitt County, she loves spending time with her two grandchildren, Naomi and Koa, who are her greatest joys.
