Jared Collum, AAMS®

Jared Collum joined Pentas as an intern in 2022 and quickly became an essential part of the team as he demonstrated a willingness to learn and expand his knowledge of the financial services industry. He currently serves as an Associate Financial Advisor as he increases his understanding of serving clients and addressing their financial needs. Jared contributes to the success of Pentas by serving on the internal investment committee with a focus on mutual fund research. Jared is currently participating in the Raymond James Advisory Mastery Program. The program is designed to help train and develop the next generation of financial advisors.

Jared earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Finance from Valdosta State University. During his time at Valdosta State, Jared served as President of the Valdosta State Investment Group where he received hands-on experience with investing and asset allocation. Jared also served as a Finance Tutor to help fellow students succeed during their time at Valdosta. Jared was awarded various academic accolades including the President’s Award for Academic Excellence for the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration. This award is presented to a high-performing senior within each of Valdosta’s six colleges.

Jared is an active member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and loves to spend time with his wife, Alaina. The two enjoy playing pickleball, exercising, and traveling.
