Richard M. Martin

Richard Martin is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they build, preserve, and enjoy their wealth. He begins by listening to each client to gain a deep understanding of their values, current position, financial ambitions, and retirement goals.

An avid travel enthusiast, Richard then designs a personalized roadmap for each client’s journey. Next, he thoroughly monitors the plan alongside the client and revises the path as needed. 

Whether his clients are building wealth, reviewing income options during retirement, or ensuring transfer of wealth, Richard is firmly committed to helping navigate financial challenges while fortifying investor confidence. Richard enjoys seeing his clients fulfill their lifelong dreams as the result of long-term financial planning.

For more than 20 years, Richard has served as a trusted advisor to his clients. Before the founding of Pentas Wealth Management, he worked with Ameris Bank Financial Services, Merrill Lynch, and SunTrust Investment Services. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Richard is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors for Shriners Children’s Florida and looks forward to becoming Chairman after his current term. He is also on the board of the Lily Pad SANE Center and is President of his neighborhood HOA. 

After being single for most of his life, Richard recently married. He now has a lovely family of 7, including 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat.

Richard loves to snow ski and hike, and he is a passionate college football fan.
